Outcome breakdown
Boost the profit portion
A 25% profit boost on decimal odds 3.00 changes the effective odds to 1 + (3 − 1) × 1.25 = 3.50.
The boost applies to the winnings only, not to the returned stake. Multiplying the whole price by 1.25 would overstate the payout.
Check the promotion limits
This example assumes the whole stake qualifies and no cap binds. A stake cap, winnings cap or fixed odds boost requires a different payout calculation.
Capped offers are not approximated here. If your boost has a cap that would apply to this bet, these figures do not describe it.
Use the final quoted odds
If the sportsbook already shows the boosted decimal odds, use those in the standard hedge calculator and do not apply the boost again.
Worked example
- A $100 bet at 3.00 with a 25% profit boost has effective odds of 3.50 and returns $350.
- The opposing side is 2.50. $350 ÷ 2.50 = $140 hedge stake.
- Total cash staked is $240, so either outcome nets $110.
Common questions
No. A hedge can equalize a loss, and prices, fees or settlement differences can change the result.
No. The calculator does not connect to any sportsbook or exchange. Enter the prices you are actually offered and check them again before you place anything.
Nothing: the effective odds equal the original odds, and the result matches the standard hedge calculator exactly.
